Behavior Guidelines
"Every student has the right to learn. Every teacher has the right to teach."
Classroom Guidelines:
1. Respect yourself, your peers, your teachers, and your school.
2. Be ready: in seat, on time, with class materials ready.
3. Be safe: use materials as directed.
4. Follow directions the first time they are given.
5. Observe all school wide rules in the student handbook.
Discipline Procedure:
· 1st offense – Verbal Warning
· 2nd offense – 10 min. at break, lunch, or after school (end of class)
· 3rd offense – Lunch Detention and Fill out Action Plan. Parents Notified
· 4th offense – Referral (on your record) and Parents Notified
*If you are a habitual offender or the behavior is extreme, you will be given after school detentions and/or sent to the office (referral). See the Academic Planner for examples of extreme behavior.
Rewards for Positive Behavior:
· Praise (daily)
· Positive Notes Home (Random)
· Popcorn during Science Movie (Earned by class)
· The joy of learning in a pleasant environmnet (each day of the school year)
