*** STUDENTS NEEDED TO FINISH THE CLOSE READ AND STEPS A-D IN OUR INVESTIGATION DURING CLASS TODAY*** Homework - Four Square Flashcards for our vocabulary words - Observation, Inference, Science, Process, Hypothesis. *We made the card for Observation together in class so students would have practice and an example to work from. The word goes on one side. The second side is split into four squares. One square has the definition (you can find them online, in a dictionary or using the online textbook's glossary). The other squares have a picture, sentence using the word and extra information (synonym, detail, example etc.). Due- Online Student Survey (see link in last blog entry) and Website Webquest (if not turned in last class).

Homework - Complete the Student Survey by clicking on the word survey! Survey * Thursday's class periods (1-3 ) are shorter by 20 minutes because of the Best School Tour where we walk around campus to learn where things are and what the behavior expectations are at each place. For example, we'll go down to the blacktop and learn the rules for checking out balls and other equipment to play with during lunch. This means periods 1-3 might be playing a little catch up on Monday so don't worry if your class didn't see the video! Schedule:
